You will find The House Next Door in the valley of the Ourthe river in a small village named Filly.

Here peaceful surroundings and tranquility are still part of everyday life. The House Next Door, your home for a weekend in the Ardennes or a vacation abroad.

There are several possibilities to enjoy the water and the beautiful nature. The local Syndicat d'Initiative from Houffalize has over 152 km of mountain bike routes signposted, these pass in front of the house. Also the hiking routes of L'Ourthe Supérieure pass in front of the house. There are possibilities to descend the river Ourthe by kayak or by raft.

The house

The division of the house

On the ground floor

  • Hall, shower and toilet.
  • Spacious living with beautiful fireplace, comfortable seats, tv connection, TV and DVD player and radio-cd player with Bluetooth.
  • Kitchen with dishwasher, two refrigerators, microwave, gas cooker, oven, coffee machine and thermos, two table grills. And of course sufficient forks, knives and spoons, plates, glasses, mugs, etc. for 14 people.
  • Garage to stall the baby carriage, mountain bikes and dirty shoes, there is a possibility to clean the mountain bikes.

On the first floor

  • 4 bedrooms, in all a total of 14 beds, toilet, 2 showers.

  • We can provide baby bed, baby chair and bath.
  • Dogs are allowed.
  • Barbecue and picnic tables are awaiting you.

Public holidays and other periods

Every stay includes cleaning, a stock of firewood and bed linen.

  • A booking is definitive once the deposit has been received.
  • Towels can be reserved for € 15 per set per person.
  • Arrival at 19.00 and departure at 17.00. Times can be earlier or later by arrangement.
  • On arrival I ask a security deposit of € 200.
  • Water, electricity and heating oil are charged separately according to the meter readings.
  • I expect you to leave The House Next Door tidy when you go.

Filly 3a, 6660 Nadrin. From the road between Nadrin and Houffalize, just past the monument “Europalia”, turn right towards Filly.

Route via Brussels
  1. Breda, direction Antwerpen, Antwerpen Ring, on the Ring exit Brussel via Mechelen, Brussel via Namen (Namur), after Namen exit Marche/Courrière.
  2. Under the viaduct keep right.
  3. After Marche exit La Roche/Waha direction La Roche.
  4. In La Roche direction Houffalize.
  5. After the villages Maboge and Berismenil you arrive in Nadrin.
  6. In Nadrin you continue driving in the direction of Houffalize.
  7. After about 2 km, just after the monument “Europalia”, you take right.
  8. The House Next Door is the second house on the right.
Route via Maastricht
  1. Maastricht, direction Luik (Liège).
  2. In Luik follow the route Ardennes (E25), after Luik direction Luxemburg/Bastogne (E25) till you arrive at the exit Baraque de Fraiture (50).
  3. Here you leave the E25 and take right in the direction of La Roche.
  4. After about 6 km just before the village Samrée take left in the direction Nadrin.
  5. After the village Berismenil you arrive in Nadrin. At the end of the road take left.
  6. In Nadrin you continue driving in the direction of Houffalize.
  7. After about 2 km, just after the monument “Europalia”, you take right.
  8. The House Next Door is the second house on the right.
